06.10.20 - 06.10.20  15:00-16:00   AEB Webinar: Strategies and Prospects for European Companies in Russia
The AEB is pleased to invite you to attend the open event “Strategies and Prospects for European Companies in Russia: Survey Results”. The event will take place on Tuesday, 06 October 2020, from 15:00 to 16:00. At the event the findings of the 13th AEB Annual Survey «Strategies and Prospects for European Companies in Russia» and AEB-GfK Barometer (which has become a traditional equitable indicator of the perception of the business environment) will be presented. For several years, the Survey has been a highly valuable source of first-hand information. This year, the traditional Survey included questions about how the crisis caused by the ?ovid-19 epidemic has affected the business environment. By answering the Survey, our members provided us with up-to-date data about the situation of European companies in Russia. With this survey we take stock of the difficulties and problems of foreign investors and inform our partners in government and society about them! Press: the survey results are widely quoted in mass media, this year the press representatives are also invited to the presentation. The results of the Survey will be presented by Alexey Dorofeev, Managing Director, GfK-Rus. The event will be moderated by Stuart Lawson, Member of the Board of the AEB; Senior Adviser, EY; Director, Skolkovo Ventures. Please click here to register online for this event.  06.10.20 - 06.10.20  10:00-12:30   AEB Webinar: European Countries Experience in Overcoming COVID-19 Crisis
The AEB North-Western Regional Committee is pleased to invite you to take part in the webinar “European countries experience in overcoming COVID-19 crisis and recovering economies”, which is organized in partnership with the Consulate General of the Netherlands, Consulate General of Finland, Consulate General of Israel and the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce (AHK). The webinar will be held on 06 October 2020, from 10:00 to 12:30 (Moscow Time) on the online platform Zoom. The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic shutdowns are dealing a severe blow to the global economy, and the European countries are not an exception. After an unprecedented collapse in the first half of the year, economic output started to recover following the easing of containment measures and the initial re-opening of businesses, but the pace of recovery has lost some momentum more recently. New restrictions are being imposed in some European countries to tackle the resurgence of the virus. Uncertainty remains high and the strength of the economy recovery varies markedly between European countries and between business sectors. How European economies were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in general? Which industries were the most badly affected? What support measures did the countries’ governments and EU provide to the business? What are the measures foreseen to speed recovery and blunt long-term adverse effects? What are the general economic forecasts by countries and when supposedly the economies may reach the pre-pandemic level? What strategies and actions different businesses have undertaken to stay afloat during the crisis? These are the main issues that will be discussed by distinguished economists and business representatives from the Netherlands, Finland, Germany and Israel during the webinar. Please click here to register online. Find the programme of the event in English.  07.10.20 - 07.10.20  10:00-11:30   CERBA Online 3rd Session of the Interassociation PR & Marketing Committee
CERBA would like to invite you to the online 3rd Session of the Interassociation PR & Marketing Committee organized by Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association, Polish Business Club and "Geran & Partners" Consulting Practice. The session of the committee "Effective communication and budget priorities during a pandemic" will be held in the format of online conference (webinar) on October 7, 2020, 10:00 AM (Moscow Standard Time). We would very much appreciate if you could take a few minutes to complete the EXPRESS SURVEY. The survey is based on the results for the past 9 months of 2020 to identify new effective approaches to communication and get the best result for the invested funds. Now everyone is trying to adapt to the new reality called "COVID-19". We apply new approaches or adapt "old" ones, offer new services, and consider new options and opportunities for communication with our target audience. We are faced with questions, some of which are listed below: How to properly prioritize external communications in a situation of limited financial resources and communications? How to choose the right service providers or optimize work with current suppliers? What are the new requirements at the stage of selection of service providers or internal staff and interaction with them? Are there any advantages for international companies compared to Russian ones in terms of borrowing unique technologies or approaches to obtain "the best value for money" in terms of external communications? What is the probability that the foreign approach will work in Russia? We have invited high-level experts in the field of external communications with significant experience in Russia and abroad in large companies, who will share their knowledge and experience with you. ADMISSION: Complimentary. RSVP: Please confirm your participation to moscow@cerbanet.org, specifying your full name, company, position, and contact information. Access to webinar will be provided upon your registration.
