Moscow Free Speakers Club is the Russian branch of Toastmasters International. The mission of the club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. The club meets biweekly on Thursdays at 19:00 at MISiS institute (Oktyabrskaya metro station, 4 Leninsky prospect st.), room B1034 (10th floor). Visit the link for more details.

The British Women's Club of Moscow holds regular coffee mornings on every Tuesday morning from 10 am to 12 noon throughout the year, except when there is an Embassy meeting. These coffee mornings are open to all: BWC members and non-members, newcomers and old-timers, visiting family and friends. Feel free to just turn up! Coffee mornings are held at Academiya, Kamergerskiy Pereulok 2/1. Meetings are informal and there is plenty of time to chat! If you are new and would like to join, make yourself known to any committee member and all you have to do is complete a membership form, show a copy of your passport and pay the joining fee. Moscow English Conversation Club is the biggest and oldest one in Moscow. It invites foreigners and Russians who wish to speak and practice their English to its meetings held each Thursday at the Russian State Library of Arts. If you have just arrived in Moscow, are not familiar with Russian culture and traditions, feel a bit lost and need some company, or just want to have a good time, International Women's Club of Moscow invites you to come to one of its Coffee Mornings where you will meet other newcomers with similar feelings as well as ladies who have already been here for a while and know their way around town. The meetings take place at Le Pain Quotidien at Bolshaya Nikitskaya street, 16 (right opposite Conservatory).
