The British Women's Club of Moscow holds regular coffee mornings on every Tuesday morning from 10 am to 12 noon throughout the year, except when there is an Embassy meeting. These coffee mornings are open to all: BWC members and non-members, newcomers and old-timers, visiting family and friends. Feel free to just turn up! Coffee mornings are held at Academiya, Kamergerskiy Pereulok 2/1. Meetings are informal and there is plenty of time to chat! If you are new and would like to join, make yourself known to any committee member and all you have to do is complete a membership form, show a copy of your passport and pay the joining fee. Moscow English Conversation Club is the biggest and oldest one in Moscow. It invites foreigners and Russians who wish to speak and practice their English to its meetings held each Thursday at the Russian State Library of Arts. RSCDS Moscow Branch is the official branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS). It's the oldest Scottish dancing school in Moscow (founded in 1993) and the only school authorized to train Scottish Dance teachers. Every year its studens and teachers attend RSCDS Summer School in Saint Andrews, Scotland. The classes on SCD are held on Thursdays (from 20:00 to 22:00) and classes on Cape Breton on Tuesdays (from 19:30 to 22:00). The groups are always open for newcomers. More info

Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) invites you the breakfast brief with the Head of Visa Section of Canadian Embassy in Moscow, Mr. William Farrell, who will brief the audience on the latest developments in Canadian visa processing. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. The event is free but spaces are limited. Moscow Free Speakers Club is the Russian branch of Toastmasters International. The mission of the club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
