Moscow English Conversation Club is the biggest and oldest one in Moscow. It invites foreigners and Russians who wish to speak and practice their English to its meetings held each Thursdays at the Russian State Library of Arts. The entrance fee is 200 rubles including buffet (free for English native speakers). Find more info on Facebook page or 8 916 3423133, 8 917 5462936 and 8tal@mail.ru. If you want to join the club, you don't have to register. No documents are necessary either. Just come! Starting from November 10 the entrance fee is 250 rub. Buffet is free as usual.

Moscow Free Speakers Club is the Russian branch of Toastmasters International. The mission of the club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia will hold its 22nd annual Golf Tournament on June 21, 2019, at Forest Hills Golf Club (Rogachevskiy highway, Dmitov region, Moscow oblast). The tournament will be played as a four man scramble. Professionals and juniors are not permitted to play. The maximum handicaps permitted are 24 for men and 28 for women. Cost of Participation: Team: 72 000 RUB (includes VAT, golf cart hire, green fees, practice range, breakfast, on-course lunch, beer garden, and evening banquet). Individual player: 18 000 RUB (includes VAT, golf cart hire, green fees, practice range, breakfast, on-course lunch, beer garden, and evening banquet). Non-playing guest: 10 000 RUB (includes VAT, golf clinic, beer garden, and evening banquet). Coffee mornings are held at Le Pain Quotidien, Kamergerskiy Pereulok 6/5. Meetings are informal and there is plenty of time to chat! RSCDS Moscow Branch is the official branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS). It's the oldest Scottish dancing school in Moscow (founded in 1993) and the only school authorized to train Scottish Dance teachers. Every year its students and teachers attend RSCDS Summer School in Saint Andrews, Scotland. The classes on SCD are held on Thursdays (from 20:00 to 22:00) and classes on Cape Breton on Tuesdays (from 19:30 to 22:00). The groups are always open for newcomers. More info

AmCham's annual U.S. Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at the exclusive Moscow Polo Club, Tseleevo! The fun will run from 3 p.m. till 9 p.m. This highly popular American-style family picnic will feature an abundance of entertainment and family fun: live music on the main stage, photo zones, tasty food and drink, crazy food eating contests, workshops and master classes for all the family, fantastic kids area, a charity raffle with grand prize 2 buisness class tickets to any destination in the U.S. courtesy of Delta Air Lines. As always, sports will be major feature of the event, with an array of tournaments and challenges, including the annual soccer and volleyball tournaments, baseball master classes, an American football show match by well-known American football team Moscow Spartans. Get involved in the sports activities and show us what you can do! The event is open only to AmCham members and their guests. Participation in AmCham's U.S. Independence Day Celebration is free of charge for AmCham members, their families and friends. However, adults must obtain tickets in advance in order to gain access to the venue (1 ticket - 1 adult). Tickets may be collected from the AmCham office (Ul. Lesnaya 7, 11th floor, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday {except Russian state holidays} starting from June 10). Please click here to register online. Please provide the full names and companies of your guests in English in the comments section. Children under 14 do not require tickets if accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
