Question:
Next summer, we will move to Moscow. My office will be 4 - 6 kilometers from Sheremetyevo airport. Where should be the best place to live, taking in consideration we wish to have an easy access to downtown...budget should be from $7000 to $8000. Thanks!
Pura Montero
Answer:
Dear Pura,

Thank you for your recent post and we would be delighted to be able to offer you rental market guidance ahead of your move to Moscow next summer. We would be happy to offer you some suggestions regarding the most popular residential areas in the city centre as well as to gated residential compounds that are popular with families.

Given the fact that you will live relatively near to the airport we would recommend that you consider the Leningradsky prospect area. This is one of the main avenues which runs from Tverskaya (central street in Moscow springing from Red Square) to the north in the direction of Sheremetyevo airport. The prospect is also home to the Anglo-American school with neighbouring housing compounds and would give you easy access to downtown Moscow.

At your convenience, I would be most grateful if you could outline the type of property you are looking for in terms of, for example, the size of your family, how far from the metro/transport links you would like to live and any other details/requirements foryour home. We would be happy to advise and to assist you with your home findingand all other aspects of your relocation. I can send detailed property information of any houses or apartments if you wish, please just request these at any time.

If you have any preliminary visits planned, we'd be glad to provide you with an orientation tour (area, housing, schools, medical/shopping/fitness centres, etc.) if this would be helpful for you. Alternatively, we would recommend viewing properties about 2-3 weeks prior to your desired lease commencement.

Please let me know if you have further questions, and stay in touch. IntermarkSavills looks forward to ensuring your happy move to Moscow!

Kind regards,
Tamara Ayoub
