Question:
I have been recently diagnosed with having excessive cartilidge around the collarbone. It appears more swollen, or just sticks out more. What would cause this? Is there anything that can be done so as not to increase it more?
Sherry
Answer:
Dear Sherry,
It can be quite difficult to provide advice without actually having seen the problem and extent thereof. If you are concerned about this problem, or if it is causing any symptoms, I would recommend that you be seen by a doctor to confirm the diagnosis. The doctor can then answer your questions below, as well as advise you on any treatment options if available. I would recommend that you be seen at the International SOS clinic situated in Moscow. I am not sure of your address, but have provided the clinic's details below: International SOS Clinic, Grokholsky lane, 31 (10th floor), Tel: 937-5760, Fax: 937-5977. Please contact them for an appointment. Ragards,
Debbie van Niekerk
