Question:
Is it possible to buy Albuterol inhalers and/or Pulmicort Turbuhaler's here without a prescription and if so where would I find them?
KM
Answer:
It's never a good idea to buy prescription drugs - especially prescription drugs with steroids which can have a drugs systemic effect - without it being unavoidable. If these drugs are for the treatment of asthma, their indications and use should be regularly reviewed and the patient's chest, asthma "diary" and peak flow readings checked; the doctor should also be regularly reviewing the dose and timing of the doses in the light of these, and be checking inhaler technique as well (particularly important if steroids are being used long term in children where the aim is to get the lowest dose that is consistently effective).
