					| Question: | | | |
					| How can I have planters' warts removed from my feet? If I have to see a doctor, what is the procedure by which they are removed, and how much will it cost? | | |
					| Answer: | | | |
					| Plantar warts are generally treated either by a chemical that your physician will prescribe and supervise you 'painting' on, or soaking the feet then rubbing the warts with a pumice stone (works but v-e-r-y slowly) or more usually removal by surgery performed under local anesthetic. Overseas, laser cautery has become a common treatment as it is effective and fast, if not cheap. The cost will entirely depend on the procedures and number of treatments needed / chosen and the particular clinic's schedule of fees. | | | | | | |
