Question:
Hi my name is matt, I am 15 years old. My question concerns my upper lip. See, I had really bad bucked teeth, and then I had braces for 3 years.
My upper lip is too short. If i let my mouth relax, my upper lip curves up, revealing my front teeth. I cannot close my mouth without straining.
Is there any way to correct this without surgery? Ty for your time
Matt
Answer:
Dear Matt,
from what you describe it seems like there is no other way than very small surgery to change the situation with your upper lip. Since you've already had orthodontic treatment this would be the only right thing. It isn't at all that bad as you might imagine. If you would like to let me have a look at it, you are welcome to stop by at my office, just give a call earlier to 254 37 10. Best regards,
