Question:
For the last two months, my gums bleed when I brush my teeth. Have been taking vitamins and using the toth paste Lacalut. However the bleeding has not stopped. Will appreciate if you could help me with this problem. Thanks in advance
SS
Answer:
Gum bleeding is a common problem and would require in most of the cases a professional cleaning of the teeth and the area between the teeth and the gum. With the time there is tartar/"toothstone" accumulated on the teeth nextto the gum and this causes the gums to be inflamed constantly. Once this is removed with scalers and polished, it will within days improve. Therefore dental hygiene is recomended once in 6 month! Best regards, VG
