Question:
I broke my front two teeth at work and they are both now cresent shaped and going to get them fixed but i wanted to know if there could be nerve damage and not know it cause it really doesnt hurt and also what they probably would do. Can they do a filling if they did wouldnt it get chiped again.
t.l.
Answer:
It all depends of the size of the chipped pieces. If the nervchamber isn't opened, the nerv could be ok but the teeth should be sensitive to hot and cold! If the nerv died by the trauma, root canal treatment should be done before filling or better crowns, to have a more stabil solution. fillings can't be that stabil, but again it depends of the size of the damage.I hope that this will be useful for you! best regards, VG
