Question:
Under my tongue, I have a white/greyish spot or wound (must be 8mm long in the meantime) This makes eating, even talking very difficult. What can I do to get rid of it as soon as possible? And what can I do to prevent it?
EA
Answer:
This spot you ae describing is most probably an apht, a white painful spot which is usually lasting until up to a week till ten days. There are some ointments which would desinfect and help it to heal, but they are all rather painful to apply. If it is not gone within one more week i would rather ask you to come in and show it to me or any other dentist to exclude different types of such spots and help you with some professional remedy. Best regards, VG
