20:00 Brazzaville (USA/ES)
BrazzavilleBrazzaville is an indie pop band founded in 1997 by David Brown. Brown was at one time Beck's saxophonist and took part in recording of Odelay and Midnite Vultures. On May 7, 2009, David Brown officially announced the dissolution of the band, stating that he would henceforth be recording and releasing music under the name David Arthur Brown, albeit with "many of the wonderful musicians who have contributed to Brazzaville records." However, June 23, 2009, David once again announced that the band will continue to exist in parallel with a solo career. Brazzaville is dedicated to the naïve idea that the world is a beautiful place filled with wonder: "We believe that there is another reality, just below the surface of our waking world, in which all is well. This is the true reality for us. We are committed to becoming less afraid of the world around us by helping others whenever possible. We love playing music and we dream of having a ship that runs on waste oil so that we may travel the seven seas making new friends and eating salted cod and mangosteen".

19:00 Steppe-Scape (Stars of Eurasia)
Steppe-Scape (Stars of Eurasia) is a project that synthesizes ancient music, vocal techniques and traditional instruments of Central Asian and Russian cultures with futuristic electronics and ambient avant-rock of the West, thus emerging as a truly Eurasian cultural phenomenon. It is a unique collaboration between most interesting and widely known in the West artists from Central Asia and Siberia, such as Namgar (Namgar Project, Buryat Republic), Radik Tyulyush (Huun Huur Tu, Chalama, Republic of Tuva), Angela Manukyan (Volga, Moscow), and guitarist, composer, and electronica artist Markus Reuter (Crimson ProjeCKt, Stick Men, centrozoon, Namgar Project), one of the most talented European artists today. The music of Steppe-Scape is a ritual that enchants its listeners and transports them to the far-away ancient horizons where forces of Cosmos and spirits of Nature meet.
