Gisaengchung
18:15. Comedy, Drama, Thriller. South Korea 2019, 132 min. Directed by Joon-ho Bong. Starring: Kang-ho Song, Yeo-jeong Jo, So-dam Park. In Korean with Russian subtitles. Meet the Park Family: the picture of aspirational wealth. And the Kim Family, rich in street smarts but not much else. Be it chance or fate, these two houses are brought together and the Kims sense a golden opportunity. Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist to the Parks. Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide "indispensable" luxury services while the Parks give the Kims a way out of their shabby circumstances. But this new ecosystem is fragile, and soon enough greed and class prejudice threaten to upend the Kims' newfound comfort.

Theatre HD Live in Cinema: Aida
19:30. Theatre HD Live in Cinema. Opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi. 213 min (with two intermissions). Director: Sonja Frisell. Conductor: Nicola Luisotti. In Italian with Russian subtitles. Set in Ancient Egypt, Aida is a timeless story of love and betrayal against the backdrop of war. The story is a roller coaster of emotions told through Verdiís powerful music. Aida is an Ethiopian princess held captive in Egypt, in love with a General, Radames, and he with her. When he is chosen to lead a war with Ethiopia, we follow the conflict of Aidaís love for both Radames and for her country. In what should be a highlight of the new season, soprano Anna Netrebko sings her first Met Aida, going toe-to-toe with mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili as Amneris. Tenor Aleksandrs Antonenko is Radamès, and Nicola Luisotti takes the podium for the Metís monumental production.
