In Russian with English subtitles. A story about a simple Russian boy who goes to the front in the First World War with naive youthful dreams about glory and decorations. In his very first battle, he loses his sight. He is left to serve as a listening sentry: he has to listen for approaching enemy aircraft through gigantic metal funnels and raise the alarm.

There, she discovers freedom of the body and soul, and nobody can stop her. However, Gaston isn’t able to make peace with the loss of his beloved, and tries with all his might to bring her back.
