 Violinist Alexei Lundin will perform works by Bach. Lundin graduated from the Gnesins' School of Music and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of N.G. Beshkina). While still a student he became interested in chamber music and studied in the ensemble class of Professor Tatyana Gaidamovich. In 1995 he continued his studies at the Moscow Conservatoire as an assistant trainee in the class of Professor M. L. Yashvili (solo performance) and the class of Professor A. Z. Bonduriansky (chamber ensemble). In 1998 Alexey Lundin and his like-minded colleagues I. Pavlikhina (second violin), A. Kulapov (viola), V. Marinyuk (cello) organized "Mozart Quartet". The young ensemble was supported by the outstanding cellist and long-time leader of the Borodin State Quartet Valentin Berlinsky. The quartet quickly rose to occupy a leading position in the musical life of Russia. In 1998 the violinist was invited to join the Moscow Virtuosi orchestra, and since 1999 Alexei Lundin has been first violinist and soloist in the orchestra. During this time, he has played numerous concerts all over the world with the best musicians. With maestro Vladimir Spivakov he has performed Bach and Vivaldi Double Concertos as well as various chamber works; CDs and DVDs have been recorded. Since 2019 - organizer and artistic director of the International Festival of Quartet Music "Valentin Berliner".
