19:00 The State Symphony Capella of Russia
The State Symphony Capella of Russia conducted by Dmitry Kryukov will perform works by Mozart. The State Symphony Capella of Russia was founded in 1991 as a result of a merger of the USSR State Chamber Choir under the leadership of Valeri Polyansky and State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR Ministry of Culture headed by Gennady Rozhdestvensky. Specialists mark strict performing discipline reigning in the collective, flexibility of phrasing, rich and warm sounding, nobility of expression, skillfully balanced sounding sections, all that make it the State Symphony Capella of Russia. Critics also note the flawless vocal and choral technique, crystal-clear and precise intonation and unfailing attention to poetic words. Valery Polyansky is the musician talented in many aspects, of the highest culture and deep expertise. His conductor's charisma is equally evident in the sphere of choral art, as well as at the control of the symphony orchestra, and creative searches are brilliantly implemented in a variety of genres: the operas, the works for the a cappella choir, monumental cantata and oratorical works, symphonies, modern compositions.
