 Oleg Akkuratov was born in 1989. At the age of four, he was accepted into the first year of a musical school and in two years entered a specialized music school for blind and vision-impaired children in Armavir (Krasnodar Region). He studied at the Moscow State College of Pop and Jazz Music (Mikhail Okun’s class) and at the Pop and Jazz Department of the Institute of Music of the Moscow University of Culture and Arts. In 2015, he graduated with distinction from the Rakhmaninov Rostov-on-Don State Conservatoire. Oleg Akkuratov has performed with Montserrat Caball? and Evelyn Glennie. As a member of the UNESCO World Choir, he participated in the concert in the papal residence and in the international charity event Thousands of Cities of the World. As a member of Igor Butman Quartet and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra, he toured to Latvia, Israel, the Netherlands, Italy, India, the United States and Canada. In 2013, he performed at the festival The Triumph of Jazz and participated in Igor Butman’s project The Future of Jazz. In 2015, at Wynton Marsalis’ invitation, he gave the concert Jazz at Lincoln Center in collaboration with orchestra at Lincoln Center, New York. In 2016, he released his solo album Golden Sunray (Butman Music Records). In 2017, he gave a solo concert at the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music.
