D.Kay

D.Kay aka David Kulenkampff, born 1979 in Austria, is a drum'n'bass producer (Brigand Music) from Vienna. D.kay got into drum'n'bass at the age of 17. A school mate supplied the tapes and hooked D.kay to the sound. After having first experiences with turntables at a friends house, he started buying records and playing first gigs at school parties. A couple of months later he made the first mixtape and sent it to promoters in his hometown.
The Flex, Vienna’s most rated underground dance club, noticed the young talent. It was the straight way the local drum’n’bass stage. D.kay started to produce and came up with his first tracks. He kept his head in the studio and made track after track. Tracks from D.Kay are released on Soul:R, Bingo, Renegade Hardware and other, he worked together with Kasra, Marcus Inalex and Black Sun Empire. His 2003 track "Barcelona" (D.Kay & Epsilon ft. Stamina MC) are landed in the British charts. In the same year he got "Best Breakthrough Producer" prize.
After being firmly established in the world wide scene of drum'n'bass, the next step D.kay undertook, was setting up his own labels. Together with DJ colleague Rawfull he brought Ill Skillz recordings to life. To explore the realms of music in his own terms, D.kay set up his solo label Brigand, which acts as a playground for new sounds, different approaches but still maintaining the dancefloor edge. D.kay is djing worldwide, with Germany, Italy, Holland and Australia on the schedule. Today it’s time for Moscow!
Stamina MC

Stamina MC is a drum’n’bass /jungle MC who uses both MC and straight singing styles, without shouting. He began performing in 1994. Writing lyrics for fun, Stamina soon realized he had a good feel for it. In 2000, making regular appearances for Movement, his trademark vocal expressions became a main ingredient and he met Brazilian DJs Marky and Patife.
A DJ’s MC – no shouting, an ability to compliment any tune in any way – naturally building a rapport with audiences. His vocal remixing came to a head in 2001 – crowds kept asking for a tune called ‘It’s The Way’ – a version of LK with Stamina singing that hadn’t even been recorded! When released it propelled up UK charts. In 2002 he hosted an 11,000 capacity arena for 11 hours establishing him in Brazil then performing for 1 million people at the Peace Parade!
Stamina MC is currently still producing, as well as featuring alongside DJ Marky in many of his sets. Stamina has played in many cities all around the world such as Tallinn, Estonia (at club Prive), Budapest, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, and Cardiff. He also featured on the BBC's 1xtra, along side DJs like DJ Friction, High Contrast, DJ Marky, and DJ Patife.
