Based on the legends of Don Juan, a fictional libertine and seducer, this famous opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been named "an opera of operas" on many occasions. More than 30 years ago Boris Pokrovsky premiered his version of the opera on the stage of Moscow Chamber Musical Theatre and now it's been reproduced once again, in its original form. Premiered on October 29, 1987. Revival — January 23, 2010.
