 The Russian experimental pop performer Kate NV (aka Ekaterina Shilonosova) will perform her notorious album 'Room for the Moon' within the summer pop-up Jameson Yard x Strelka Bar project. The album was released last year, but due to the coronavirus outbreak loud presentations and live tours were cancelled. This Thursday, Strelka Bar promises a great perfomance of one of the most dynamic and compelling artists these days, who is known to many through her solo album Binasu. NV has said that Room for the Moon’s influences include Russian children’s movies and television shows and she has described her album as a fairy tale, saying “Each song is like a character who, to one degree or another, is presented in me and shapes me as a person... Somewhere on the planet there are plans where everything is clear, where we are given words.” Even if that cloudless place is impossible to grab ahold of right now, 'Room for the Moon' offers respite until we find it, NV promises.
