 Lara Fabian is a famous Belgian singer, known mainly for being the eponym of her most popular album. Singing mainly in French, she is also considered a talented songwriter, having written tracks for other popular artistes including Nolwenn Leroy and Chimène Badi. She began taking music lessons as a child, and by the time she was ten, she began writing and singing her own songs. Her most popular albums include 'Carpe Diem', 'Pure', and 'Live', amongst others, with hit singles like ', 'Le jour où tu partira', 'Tu t'en vas', 'Tu es mon autre', and 'J'y crois encore'. She also recreated the Canadian anthem in French and English renditions. She is famous for having given her voice to the character of 'Esmeralda', in the French remake of the film, 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'. Her song, 'Deux ils, Deux elles', is in particular, considered one of the most beautiful tracks she has ever produced. Fabian is also known for having collaborated with various popular artistes, like George Perris, and Mustafa Ceceli. The recipient of prestigious honours like the 'Felix Awards', 'World Music Awards', and the 'IFPI Platinum Europe Awards', this brilliant singer has achieved considerable fame and success.
