He adopts the book's teachings and slowly finds himself going crazy.

Mastercard and Pioner Cinema invite you to a special screening of “Oh Mercy!” (Roubaix, une lumiere) by one of French cinema’s main heirs apparent, Arnaud Desplechin. This work brought the director his sixth Palme d’Or nomination at the Cannes Film Festival. This time, Desplechin shot a detective movie about a policeman who is investigating a crime in the north of France. The film is based on a real story and a popular documentary TV show, and features the young stars of contemporary French cinema Lea Seydoux and Sara Forestier. This special screening will take place as part of the “Priceless Cities of Film” festival. We’re looking forward to seeing you on 25 September at Pioner Cinema!
