A Hidden Life

The film is based on a true story of a modest hero who refused to serve in the Nazi army during World War II.

Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex Fashion & Disco
18:00. Documentary. USA 2018, 95 min. Directed by James Crump. In English with Russian subtitles. Director James Crump looks at the 70s, an era unparalleled in its audacious charm, through the truly kaleidoscopic personality of the illustrator Antonio Lopez. The Moulin Rouge had Toulouse Lautrec. The Bohemians of the 70s fared no worse – they had Antonio! Lopez, a Puerto Rico-born, Harlem and Bronx-raised resident of New York and Paris, was a vivid representative of the world around him. It was a time when classic couture was deteriorating, replaced by mass fabrication and bright synthetics; the sexual revolution had already taken place; and the only thing to do was to let loose in the light of the disco ball. Apart from Antonio Lopez himself, the film features Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, Jessica Lange, Jerry Hall, Grace Coddington, Bill Cunningham, and even Grace Jones.
