After a difficult illness, Robin ends up paralyzed. In order to simply breathe, he now has to remain tethered to a massive medical device. He must learn to breathe anew and fight for his life and family. An inspiring directorial work by Andy Serkis, a famous actor whose voice is instantly recognizable to anyone who's watched "The Lord of the Rings," "King Kong," and "Planet of the Apes." The film is based on a real story, and was produced by Jonathan Cavendish, Robin Cavendish's real-life son.

Zack Snyder's superhero action movie, based on eponymous series from DC Comics.

Documentary. Turkey, USA 2016, 80 min. Directed by Ceyda Torun. In Turkish with Russian subtitles. The streets of Istanbul belong to those who walk its streets all on their own – which is to say, to thousands of cats and kittens. "Kedi" is the story of the city as seen through the eyes of seven charming and very independent cats, as well as the people who take care of them. The film's creators were inspired by the special relationship that Istanbul has to its street cats, comparable to the relationship to cows in India. Director Ceyda Torun and cinematographer Charlie Wupperman tried to portray what it must feel like to be a cat in a big city where both ancient traditions and technological progress come alive.

This ambitious project studies the incredible artist’s beautiful mind with the help of his native language of painting.

A new screen adaptation of Agatha Christie's famous novel. Hercule Poirot is played by the director himself, Kenneth Branagh. Among the suspects are Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Judi Dench, and even famous ballet dancer Sergey Polunin.

A documentary about one of the greatest cultural institutions in the world, the Paris Opera. Director Stéphane Lisser opens the secret world of the opera to audiences, with its backstage spaces and the many secrets that the ancient building hides. This is an ironic film about the world of music and ballet which shows the real passions that burn in the Paris Opera. The film won a silver St. George at the Moscow International Film Festival.

Fantasy/Drama. Norway, France, Denmark, Sweden 2017, 116 min. Directed by Joachim Trier. Starring: Eili Harboe, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Henrik Rafaelsen. In Norwegian with Russian subtitles. On 18 November, as part of Pioner and Mastercard “Priceless Cities in Cinema” festival, we will host a pre-release screening of "Thelma," a film by Norway's biggest contemporary director, Joachim Trier ("Louder than Bombs"). Thelma grew up in a religious family, and for the first time, she is leaving her family home, in order to move to Oslo and study at university. Raised in strict conditions, she doesn't give in to the temptations of the big city, but quickly grows attached to her classmate, Anja. She brings Thelma into her social circle, and the girls become friends. But Thelma is ashamed of her feelings, and in addition, she begins to have strange and inexplicable seizures. This romantic, sometimes mystical thriller was filmed in dream-like contemporary Oslo – one of the capitals of Scandinavian design, but behind whose minimalist façade hide irrational passions and storms of uncontrollable emotion. The film's world premiere took place in September at the Toronto Film Festival.
