Blade Runner 2049

In English with Russian subtitles. Officer K works in a special division of the LAPD, specializing in trapping runaway androids – a blade runner. One day, he is granted access to an ancient secret which, as far as he understands, puts the entirety of human existence in jeopardy. Wishing to find the key to the mystery, K decides to track down Rick Deckard, a former blade runner, who disappeared without a trace many years ago. A sequel to the 1982 masterpiece, filmed by Denis Villeneuve and produced by Ridley Scott. The soundtrack was created by some of the greatest contemporary film composers: Hans Zimmer and Jóhann Jóhannsson.

The film’s storyline, shot over the course of the year immediately after the victory on Maidan, follows the events in Crimea and the war in Donbass, exposes the deep roots of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

He often dreams of turning into a deer, wandering around snowy woods, and hopelessly tries to start a friendship with another graceful animal of the female persuasion. One day, a new coworker named Mária appears, and it turns out that she has the same dreams as Endre. Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi’s surrealistic opus, which won a Golden Bear at the 2017 Berlinale.
