Gina lost her sight when she was still a child, but blindness hasn't stopped her from getting happily married. At a regular visit to the ophthalmologist, she and her husband find out that there is a new method of treating her rare disease. After an operation, the world opens up before Gina like never before. She tries to discover everything that she never had – including relationships with men. Her husband, James, is not too pleased with her sexual awakening, and is ready to do anything to make her dependent on him and him alone. A drama by Marc Forster ("Stranger than Fiction," "Quantum of Solace," "Finding Neverland”), one of the most eagerly-awaited premieres from the most recent Toronto Film Festival.

In English with Russian subtitles. The film is dedicated to the events of 1973. That year saw a tennis match between the reigning world champion, 29 year-old Billie Jean King, and men's tennis veteran Bobby Riggs. The competition between King and Riggs wasn't limited to the tennis court – each of them fought an even more difficult battle for their own personal goals outside the sport. 90 million people from all over the world watched their famous match. A comedic drama from the director of "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Ruby Sparks," where Emma Stone fights Steve Carrell for women's rights. Simon Beaufoy, who won an Oscar for "Slumdog Millionaire," wrote the screenplay.

Starring: Gogita Chitishvili, Maka Sanikidze, Nunu Chitishvili, Gela Chitishvili, Nona Gurgenidze, Guliko Sadradze. In Georgian with Russian subtitles. Gogita spent 14 years in prison and is now returning to normal life. He has fairly simple desires: have his own house and find a good wife. But who could be interested in a poor farmer with a criminal past who lives with his mother? Gogita quickly learns how to use new technologies to meet people on social networks, and is ready to meet the love of his life. But the images in the protagonist's head in the course of his virtual communication are often far from reality. The path to obtaining his love turns out to be sad and comic simultaneously.

Documentary. Turkey, USA 2016, 80 min. Directed by Ceyda Torun. In Turkish with Russian subtitles. The streets of Istanbul belong to those who walk its streets all on their own – which is to say, to thousands of cats and kittens. "Kedi" is the story of the city as seen through the eyes of seven charming and very independent cats, as well as the people who take care of them. The film's creators were inspired by the special relationship that Istanbul has to its street cats, comparable to the relationship to cows in India. Director Ceyda Torun and cinematographer Charlie Wupperman tried to portray what it must feel like to be a cat in a big city where both ancient traditions and technological progress come alive.

Salinger becomes inspired by the events of his rebellious youth: a falling-out with his father, wartime experience, a spirited affair, and devastating losses. The film’s leading roles feature Nicholas Hoult, Zoey Dutch, Kevin Spacey, and Sarah Paulson. Danny Strong, screenwriter for "The Hunger Games," directs.

EF teacher, Star Wars saga fan, and passionate collector David Johnson, who has been on Luke's island several times, will tell about the history of the film's creation, intriguing facts, and comical coincidences during filming. Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past.

On the outskirts of Helsinki, fate brings together a Syrian refugee, Khaled, and a former salesman, Wikström, who put all his savings into a failing fast food restaurant. Together, they try to find Khaled's sister, whom he lost on the way to Europe, and turn Wikström's dive into a fashionable establishment. A melancholy comedy by Finland's biggest director, Aki Kaurismäki, which won for best direction at the 2017 Berlin Film Festival.
