7 Razones Para Huir
18:50. Comedy. Spain 2019, 75 min. Directed by Gerard Quinto, Esteve Soler. Starring: Emma Suárez, Sergi López, Lola Dueñas. In Spanish with Russian subtitles. Seven stories that blend horror and comedy. Seven moments of black humor that feel both strange and familiar. Seven surrealist visions of a dysfunctional society that does not progress. There’s “Order” for instance, in which a trio of people realize they no longer know what number comes after six. And then there is “Property” which focuses on a professional woman being shown an apartment featuring a dead body blatantly dangling from a noose. "Family" opens with a bearded slacker adult son being awoken by his concerned parents. Despite the hour, they need to talk to him about something and it cannot wait.

Give Me Liberty
09:40. Comedy. USA 2019, 110 min. Directed by Kirill Mikhanovsky. Starring: Lauren 'Lolo' Spencer, Chris Galust, Maxim Stoyanov. In English with Russian subtitles. This anarchic black comedy tells about one day in the life of young third-generation emigrant, Vic, a medical transport driver who takes people with disabilities to a center where they have the opportunity to work and interact. His passengers aren’t usually a piece of cake, but his minibus veers completely off-course when he accepts a group of elderly Russian emigrants who urgently need to get to a funeral. Over the course of two wild and unpredictable hours, the protagonists race through the streets of Milwaukee with a bayan and a jar of pickles, and neither they nor the audience can imagine how this adventure will end.

It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time--stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah's terrifying tome.
