Morten has to be shrunk down before he can grow up. Morten builds a toy boat which he crews with insects. This is his escape from the unhappy world of the harbour café where he lives with his aunt Anna.

Carlitos is a 17-year-old youth with movie star swagger, blond curls and a baby face. As a young boy, he coveted other people's things, but it wasn't until his early adolescence that his true calling - to be a thief - manifested itself. When he meets Ramon at his new school, Carlitos is immediately drawn to him and starts showing off to get his attention. Together they will embark on a journey of discoveries, love and crime. Killing is just a random offshoot of the violence, which continues to escalate until Carlitos is finally apprehended. Because of his angelic appearance, the press dubs Carlitos "The Angel of Death." Showered with attention because of his beauty, he becomes an overnight celebrity. Altogether, he is believed to have committed over forty thefts and eleven homicides. Today, after more than 46 years in jail, Carlos Robledo Puch is the longest-serving prisoner in the history of Argentina.

The 1940's, Korea is under Japanese occupation. Korean people are banned from speaking their own language. Pan-Soo (Yu Hae-Jin) has been imprisoned several times and it is nothing special for him to go there. He does not know how to read or write the Korean language. One day, he steals Jung-Hwan’s (Yoon Kye-Sang) bag to help pay for his son's tuition fee. Jung-Hwan is the son of a wealthy Korean family who are pro-Japanese. Yet, Jung-Hwan is a representative of the Korean Language Society. By meeting Jung-Hwan, Pan-Soo's life soon changes. They work together to publish a Korean language dictionary.

Young director Gabe Klinger filmed a confession of love to this beautiful Portuguese city, film, and everyone who knows what a broken heart feels like. One of Anton Yelchin’s last film roles.

On 19 February, as part of Pioner and Mastercard's “Priceless cities in Cinema” festival, Pioner will host the Russian premiere of “Promise at Dawn” (La promesse de l’aube), starring Charlotte Gainsbourg and Pierre Niney. This is a film adaptation of Romain Gary’s autobiographical novel, which tells the story of a mother’s boundless love. When the future Goncourt Prize winner was still a child, his mother took it into her head that he would become a diplomat, soldier, and world-famous writer. Regardless of how the people around her would laugh, and how her son sometimes doubted his own abilities, she continued to believe in him steadfastly — and all of her wildest dreams came true. A mother’s love and unconditional support carried Romain through all the trials and tribulations of his life, full of secrets, battles, and unbelievable twists and turns.

The film asks the question 'How well do any of us really know each other' and explores the ideas of love, lust, and family relationships.

But neither the charismatic teacher or her loving husband take Lisa's literary attempts seriously, and her teenage children have completely separated themselves from their mother. One day, she hears one of her five-year-old students mumbling something that sounds to her very much like a brilliant poem. The teacher becomes so excited by the boy and his talents that it turns into a real obsession and leads to dangerous consequences.

The year is 1987 and Japan is just reaching the peak of its economic success. Eighteen-year old Yonosuke Yokomichi arrives in Tokyo from Nagasaki. Ordinary in every way possible, he lives in a suburb far from the excitement of the big city and commutes to a university in the center of Tokyo. During his first days at school, Yonosuke befriends Ippei Kuramochi and Yui Akutsu. Soon after, he joins the Samba club and spends his leisure time learning to dance. In the Samba club, Yonosuke meets Kato, who turns out to be gay. Together, they take a driving class where Yoko, a rich girl, shows interest in Yonosuke. But he hardly notices her advances; he is infatuated with party girl Chiharu, an older woman he met by chance. Parallel to the depiction of this year of ordinary college life, the characters are shown sixteen years later in the year 2003. However, missing from these scenes is Yonosuke, who is said to have become a cameraman after college.
