Set in early 1980s California, the story follows the meteoric rise of the golden boy of the automotive industry, John DeLorean (Lee Pace) and his iconic DeLorean Motor Company, through the eyes of his friendship with charming, ex-con pilot turned FBI informant, Jim Hoffman (Jason Sudeikis). DeLorean turned to unsavory activities to save his financially troubled DeLorean Motor Company, and it was Hoffman who was all too willing to lure the car designer/engineer into a cocaine trafficking ring set up by the FBI.

Peter Lindbergh - Women's Stories

A portrait of one of the most legendary photographers of the 20th century, from his military childhood to the glamorous heights of fashion and advertising. Before he discovered photographer, Lindbergh entered the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts in the beginning of the 1970s and considered Van Gogh to be his idol, then studied abstract art and exhibited his conceptual works inspired by Kosuth. In 1988, the supermodel era began thanks to Lindbergh, and names like Linda, Naomi, Cindy, and Christie became known the world over. But the film features other stories about women in Lindbergh’s life as well.

A sweeping romantic historical drama follows thirty years in the life of a great artist - loosely based on Gerhard Richter, one of the 20th century's most admired visual artists. The film goes from a childhood witnessing Nazi Germany, to post-war East Berlin, where he falls in love with a young woman whose father is an ex-Nazi murderer in hiding, to escaping to the West at the time of the Berlin Wall, and ultimately being part of the exciting new movement in contemporary art.
