Inside Naples, there’s another, smaller city: the real Naples, where the real Neapolitans live. They’re loud, they’re effusive, and of course, they’re very romantic. One of them is the young Ciro. When the boy suddenly begins behaving strangely and even loses his appetite, his relatives send him to a psychologist. As it turns out, the reason behind these changes is his very first love. But the psychologist himself, Tommaso, has his own feelings for Debora, Ciro’s mother. The boy and the doctor then decide to help each other win the mutual affections of their respective paramours.

Welcome to the South 2 (Non ce piu religione)
19:15. Comedy. Italy 2017, 94 min. Directed by Luca Miniero. Starring: Alessandro Gassman, Claudio Bisio, Angela Finocchiaro, Nabiha Akkari, Giovanni Cacioppo, Massimo De Lorenzo. In Italian with Russian subtitles. In the process of getting ready for Christmas, the residents of a tiny Italian island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea encounter a serious problem. For many years now, there have been no children born on the island, so there’s nobody to play the role of the baby Jesus in the traditional Christmas pageant with the gifts of the Magi, and the boy who played the role earlier is already far too large. There is, of course, one option: “borrowing” a baby from the Tunisian diaspora, but they’re Muslims, so the idea seems to be a little unorthodox to many—both Tunisians and Italians. When the discussion hits a wall, the nun Marta and the head of the Tunisian diaspora, Bilal (who had previously been an Italian and later converted to Islam) decide to take the diplomatic negotiations into their own hands.
