The ballet "Giselle" is an unsurpassed achievement of choreographic art, the spirit of romanticism embodied on the ballet stage. Giselle perishes, unable to survive the deception of her lover Albert, who concealed his high title and his forthcoming marriage to another. Even after becoming one of the Willis - the vengeful spirits of deceived brides - Giselle saves Albert from death by the power of her forgiving love. Created more than a century and a half ago, the ballet is still moving today, contrasting reality, where the love of a peasant girl and a count is doomed, and a ghostly world where great feeling triumphs. The performance is accompanied by the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra. Artistic Director and Principal Conductor - Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Kondrashev.
