 Skolkovo Jazz Festival will be held in Russia for the fourth time. As in previous years, this year’s festival on August 24 has two stages: a main stage and an experimental stage. Performances by virtuoso jazz artists will be interspersed with lectures on popular science, and the area around the Skolkovo pond will be buzzing with science and music-related activities to suit visitors of all ages. The Festival agenda includes popular science lectures, master classes and interactive installations. Music lovers and those seeking something original will be welcome to attend the Vinyl Market where rare records will be available for purchase or exchange. There will also be a FoodTrack Fest, all part of the Skolkovo Jazz Festival, bringing together Moscow’s most popular and best known street food projects. The main stage will feature Igor Butman (who is also the founder and the music producer of the Festival) with his Moscow Jazz Orchestra. A special guest this year is the American singer, author, composer, producer and MTV-presenter China Moses.

 Spasskaya Tower is a music fiesta, a spectacular show, staged on the background of the monumental walls of the Kremlin, and a great ‘battlefield’ of the bands from different countries fighting for the love and admiration of the audience. The harmonious combination of military, classical, folk and popular music, military band parades and dance shows, laser and pyrotechnical effects makes the Festival one of the brightest and most memorable events of the year. The Festival is held annually on Red Square. At Spasskaya Tower everyone can find something to their liking: some people like clear, well-adjusted movements of military men, while others enjoy live orchestral music or cultural exchange with people from other nations. Children are also welcome: for them the Festival has prepared a number of master classes and a horse show. The audiences will also enjoy a lighting show projected to the St. Basil’s Cathedral; each night the event will close with majestic fireworks.
