Traveling through time from the French Revolution to the World Wars and other global historical shifts to contemporary pop culture and the development of technology, the film sheds new light on the inner workings of the world around us, growing socioeconomic inequality and a troubling future in which two-thirds of people will be poorer than their parents.

The grown heroes who tried to forget about everything that happened to them must defeat the fear deep in their souls and come back to the city of their childhood. The next battle will be even more dangerous, but it must be the last.
