| SOUND UP: Inside the Orchestra |
19:00, 20:30. The project will explain how a symphony orchestra is organized and will give listeners a rare opportunity to get to know it from the inside by experiencing a unique musical experience. Guests of SOUND UP: inside the orchestra will take seats next to the performers and witness an open rehearsal of the symphony orchestra. On the musicians' consoles will be the notes of the suite from the symphony "Optimistic Tragedy" by Ilya Demutsky, who is known for his numerous works for the Bolshoi Theater - the premieres of the ballets "Gabrielle Chanel", "Nureyev" and "The Seagull" have caused a special resonance. In the concert-performance SOUND UP: inside the orchestra, the conductor's work with the performers on the interpretation and sound of the work, usually hidden from the ears and eyes of outsiders, will come to the fore. Like in Fellini's cult film "Rehearsal of the Orchestra", the musicians will bring the tension to a climax - the rehearsal will be transformed into a symphonic concert. An additional dimension to the musical performance will be provided by the audience score, which will accompany the participants throughout the action and allow them to immerse themselves in the history of the symphony orchestra and its behind-the-scenes life.
