Another work by Wayne McGregor — "Witness" — will be presented by unique ballerina, Alessandra Ferri, who came back on the scene at the age of 50 four years ago. Alessandra Ferri will perform in a duet with the star of the American Ballet Theatre, Herman Cornejo. The Gala-opening programme includes — a work by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui "I will Fall for You" performed by Drew Jacoby to music by Woodkid, ballet "Chutes and Ladders" by one of the most sought-for young US choreographers Justin Peck and the Russian debut of the main Los Angeles-based contemporary dance company Bodytraffic.
