Ahmad Tea Music Festival invites you to enjoy a wonderful open-air evening of great British music in a beautiful city center park. This year Festival, sponsored by the popular brand of English tea is also to be held in an open venue, perfect for summer events - the Museon Park of Arts. The headliners will be legendary PJ Harvey, Maccabees and Django Django. During the alternative rock explosion, several female singer/songwriters rose to prominence, but few have proved as distinctive or as widely praised as Polly Jean Harvey. Over the course of her career, Harvey established herself as one of the most individual and influential songwriters of her era, exploring themes of sex, love, and religion with unnerving honesty, dark humor, and a twisted theatricality. At the outset, she led the trio PJ Harvey, which delivered her stark songs with bruisingly powerful, punkish abandon. This spring sees the release of PJ Harvey’s ninth studio album, The Hope Six Demolition Project, on April 15th through Island Records. The Hope Six Demolition Project draws from several journeys undertaken by Harvey, who spent time in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington, D.C. over a four-year period. Ahmad Tea Literature Summer will keep experience of the British literature festival in Russia this year. So Ahmad Tea Music Festival 2016 will be an excellent performance of the summer season.
