Diana Scrivener master class in baroque dance (UK)

On the 10th and 11th December a prominent British choreographer Diana Scrivener will conduct a master class in baroque dance at the Festival of authentic music and drama "Moskovskoye deistvo" (Moscow Happening). The event has been organised with the assistance of the British Embassy in Moscow.
Baroque dance is a highly developed historical dance form with a distinctive technique. The Baroque Dance school was formed in Europe at the beginning of the XX century.
Diana Scrivener is a brilliant teacher and a renowned specialist in the choreography and interpretation of early dance forms. She is a member of the Dance Research Committee of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Diana was a choreographer on several productions including the highly-acclaimed and Oscar-winning film 'Elizabeth'.
Diana Scrivener and her company have performed at a number of significant venues including London's Covent Garden and the palace at Versailles. In addition to regular teaching commitments in London, Diana holds master classes across Europe. In May and October she conducted highly successful master classes in baroque and renaissance dance in St. Petersburg.
The master class programme in Moscow includes baroque technique and choreography as well as contradances of the late XVII and XVIII centuries. Read more
