Patric Catani

Candie Hank is a grotesque entertainment show with no limit, a collision of Rock'n'Roll, Moog influenced but harsh synthscapes breakcore ... – but Belly Dance Punk and Gabba like Proto Pop.

Debut LP 'Kimouchi' released on Gagarin Records a label run by Felix Kubin who couldn't deny to release the Candie Hank stuff and even called it a landmark.

Candie Hank calls it 'Lubricant Sleazecore'. Another Messenger of Juri Gagarin is found and he comes with a bag full of sorrow and a fistful of sweets. Buy 'Kimouchi' @ Stora.

Patric Catani started to produce music quite early ...

In his teenager years he used to program his C64 Computer and to rip the old arcade game music out of games. Catani continued to work on the homecomputer and made his first Hardcore / Techno Gabba record at the age of 16 in the year 1992 on his Amiga 500 computer.

Catani called himself E de Cologne these days and he influenced a lot of other experimental and Breakcore orientated bands and musicians.

Very soon after his successful start he made a remix 10'' for Mouse on Mars and started several other projects. Patric moved from Cologne to Berlin and formed EC8OR with Gina V. D'Orio (Cobra Killer). he toured in the united States and Japan several times and during these years he released over 30 records on various labels like the Structure / Monotone, Praxis, Bastard Loud, Digital Hardcore Recordings, Mille Plateaux, Wordsound / Blackhoodz and Grand Royal.

Since a few years Patric Catani also produces music for the Puppetmastaz.

He freshes up 'old cells' with Gina V. D'Orio by emerging A*Class – and eventually Catani's Alter Ego steppes into the spotlight of our attention: Mr. Candie Hank.
