The Crystal Method (USA) According to The Crystal Method, they're accessible to all because they'd like to draw in the electronic music as many people as possible. The Crystal Method are heroes of the Los Angeles rave scene of the early 1990s. The unresting electronic duo of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland has been constantly gaining higher and higher positions on the charts. The neon lights of the southern megapolis, rumbling breakbeats and metal-edged synth melodies - these are the main components of The Crystal Method's unique style called funky breaks. They have a lot of platinum-selling albums under their belt, as well as remixes for Moby, Black Grape and Zen Cowboys; a Grammy nomination (for their album "Legion of Boom"), a record-breaking amount of awards at the 2004 American Dance Music Awards (Best American Band, Best Album ("Legion of Boom"), and Best Single ("Born Too Slow")).

At their best, partners Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland match power and hooks in dance tracks that throb with raw inspiration and intense sexual energy. Its early reputation built on the strength of furious 12-inch singles ("Now Is the Time"), the Crystal Method finally stepped beyond the rave scene with Vegas; "Busy Child" was a medium hit that momentarily busted open the '90s mainstream in league with Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. Aggressive beats, found voices, and desperate hooks collide and tumble at a brutal pace.

Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland's music appeared in numerous Hollywood blockbusters such as "Blade II", "xXx", and "Gone in 60 Seconds" to name but a few - as well as computer games "NFS: Underground", "FIFA'98: Road to World Cup", "Matrix: Path of Neo" among other popular games. The musicians however don't seem to rest on their laurels - their pro-active creative attitude has brought the duo some new interesting projects. They were credited to compose the score for the film "London", released in 2006, which resulted not only in some interesting experience for The Crystal Method but also in the album "London - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack".

The musicians are eager to experiment and seek new ways for their music to come through: The Crystal Method wrote a mix for Nike called "Drive Nike + Original Run", designed to be listened to while performing sports activities. The musicians also participated in developing "Nike + iPod Sport Kit", a product of collaboration between Nike and Apple.

In Moscow, The Crystal Method are going to present their latest album "Divided by Night", released in May 2009. The record features collaboration with New Order's bassist Peter Hook among others, and has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category. Besides the new album, The Crystal Method will also perform their well-known computer games tracks and best soundtrack themes.
