The premiere of "Don Carlos" is dedicated to the Giuseppe Verdi Bicentennial. The production is by the well-known English director Adrian Noble, for many years artistic director of The Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford-on-Avon (England), celebrated for his charismatic productions of Shakespeare's plays and who works on a regular basis in opera.
