19:00 The Golden Age of Tango
Solo Tango Orquesta and stars of Argentine tango Leandro Oliver & Laila Rezk together with Lautaro Greco (diatonic bandoneon). Solo Tango orquesta is rapidly rising to the top of the world Tango Olympus. Team founded in the summer of 2010 and the incredibly short time gained international recognition. In October 2010, Solo Tango orquesta won the international competition “Citta de Castelfidardo” in Italy, received the first prize in the category “Piazzollas Music”. Tango orchestra, created by the efforts of magnificent Moscow musicians who are not one year of his life devoted to tango music. Sound of the orchestra differs perfect sense of style, powerful energy and high quality of performance. Repertoire includes a complex tango songs, great sounding at major concert halls and, best of dance music orchestras “Golden Age of Tango”, under which it is convenient and comfortable to dance in the milongas.

The Opening Concert of the 14th Concert Season of the Moscow International Performing Arts Center Svetlanov Hall. Conductor Vladimir Spivakov. Lucas Debargue, piano (France) In program: Sergei Rachmaninov, Piano concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18. Charlie Chaplin “The Kid” (1921/1971), movie with a live musical accompaniment. Composer – Charlie Chaplin (with the assistance of Eric James). Reconstruction of the score – Carl Davis (1995/1996). In 2015 the French pianist Lucas Debargue became the most talked-about artist of the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition. Debargue was born in 1990 in a non-musical family. In 1999 he settled in Compiègne, about 90km north of Paris and began his initial piano studies at the local music school at the age of 11. A performer of fierce integrity and dazzling communicative power, Debargue draws inspiration for his playing from many disciplines, including literature, painting, cinema and jazz. The core piano repertoire is central to his career, but he is also keen to present works by lesser-known composers such as Nikolai Medtner, Samuel Maykapar and Nikolai Roslavets.
