Jazz Olympus series. Daniil Kramer Trio and special guests Vincent Herring (saxophone, USA) and Robert Anchipolovsky (saxophone, Israel) will perform unforgettable Saxophone show. Daniel Kramer is one of the most widely recognised Russian jazz performers, People’s Artist of Russia, the winner of the Gustav Mahler European Prize, and an honorary member of the Sydney Jazz Club. Since 1982 when he received the first prize at a jazz improvisation contest in Vilnius, his name has appeared on some of the most impressive bills in the professional jazz community. Vincent Herring is a saxophone virtuoso with a uniquely intense and vigorous musical voice. He is considered one of the premier saxophonists of his generation. incent first toured Europe and the United States with Lionel Hampton’s big band in the early 1980’s. As he developed his musicianship working with Nat Adderley, a partnership blossomed that continued for nine years. Along the way he worked and/or recorded with Cedar Walton, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Hayes, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers, Horace Silver Quintet, Jack DeJohnette’s Special Edition, Larry Coryell, Steve Turre, The Mingus Big Band, Kenny Barron, Nancy Wilson, Dr. Billy Taylor, Carla Bley, and John Hicks. Robert Anchipolovsky born in Kiev (Ukraine). In his musical family father was also jazz saxophonist, grandfather - professor of Music Academy in Kiev. At around the age of nine Robert has begun to play the clarinet under direction of his father and grandfather. Taking jazz on traditional main-stream, Anchipolovsky has established himself as a virtuoso instrumentalist, a brilliant performer and an artist passionately committed to his music. The intensive concert appearances were combined with musician\'s participation in big jazz contests. Robert Anchipolovsky plays with powerful intensity, sophisticated technique and remarkable sensitivity. Anchipolovsky is constantly continuing to innovate and to renew his repertoire and styles.
