11:20, 23:30. Thriller/Drama. USA 2017, 92 min. Directed by Elliott Lester. Starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maggie Grace, Kevin Zegers. In English with Russian subtitles. Roman (Arnold Schwarzenegger), while awaiting the arrival of his family, finds out that there’s been a plane crash, and his wife and son were killed. The tragedy occurred by the fault of the air traffic controller, who admitted his guilt. Roman could not forgive him, and decides to get revenge. The film is based on a real event: the Überlingen mid-air collision in 2002, which occurred as a result of a Swiss air traffic controller. Darren Aronofsky produced.

Johanna, a fragile girl, winds up in an elite special forces unit, comprised exclusively of men. Each of the unit’s brave young men tries to win her attention and the strict discipline and subordination of the unit is ruined. This situation doesn’t suit Eugène – the division commander and a fierce misogynist. He is convinced that there’s nothing for women to do in the special forces, and tries any way he can to dispense of his freshly-minted charge. The antipathy between them grows into a real fight of ambitions, and gradually, they begin to recognize each other better and better… A new comedy by Dany Boon, the mind behind the film “Welcome to the Sticks” / Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis, one of the biggest French box office successes in history. He himself played the role of Eugène.

Spanish actress Macarena Granada runs from Nazi Germany to the United States. Having won the hearts of Hollywood, she returns to Spanish 18 years later in order to play the role of Spanish Queen Isabella I, which she has dreamt of for a long time. In postwar Spain, she meets friends and colleagues from the past and understands that life in her native country is already different from what it used to be. A comedy by Oscar winner Fernando Trueba, with Penélope Cruz in the main role, which sends up the golden age of Hollywood and the film business as a whole. The film’s world premiere took place at the Berlin Film Festival.

At the age of 12, Una ran away from home with Ray – a man several times older than herself. Now, fifteen years later, she discovers his photograph in a newspaper: he has a new life, a new family, and a new name. In an attempt to answer the questions that are torturing her, Una begins to seek out a meeting with him. The film is based on Scottish playwright David Harrower’s famous play, “Blackbird.” The leading roles are played by Rooney Mara and Ben Mendelsohn.

Documentary. France, Germany, USA 2016, 90 min. Directed by Terrence Malick. In English with Russian subtitles. Terrence Malick’s monumental documentary project, dedicated to the history of the Universe – from the birth of the stars until the appearance of life and beginning of humanity. The project was conceived of by the director in the 1970s, but fully realized only last year: it premiered at the Venice Film Festival. A variety of colors, the rotation of the planets, the eruption of volcanoes and the appearance of life from nothing: as Malick himself assures, this is one of his greatest dreams. The film is narrated by Cate Blanchett.
