The history of a bold breakthrough is magnificent in its simplicity. After winning the Dranoff International Two Piano Competition Lisitsa moved from Kiev to the US, studying combined with a growing concert work. But, as Valentine herself admits, the career suddenly stalled. She was needed a nontrivial move and found it: in 2007, the pianist posted her recordings on YouTube. And then there was the effect of a snowball rolling from the mountain with an exciting speed. Every day the number of views increased, reaching incredible numbers for classical music - up to 50,000 per day. Phenomenal success was the impetus for the resumption of active concert activity.
