Ada is overlapping all kinds of styles and rocking the house with heart and mind. Consistently danceable she delights with melancholic profundity and weird art of sawing. Her music crosses oceans with loud volumes from New York to Toronto to Lisbon to Paris and especially renowned clubs like Sven V?th’s Cocoon Club/Frankfurt, Watergate/Berlin, Studio 672/Cologne or Fabric/London, which have all been raptured by her live-performance. |

Though the origin of his last album's title "Tales of Kleptomaniac" is still kept secret, monsieur Garnier definitely gives us the idea that it is quite autobiographical – Laurent is a famous musical kleptomaniac! After playing seven hour running, he can take no notice and go on and on and on. "A standard 2-hour set is not enough for me, because like any classical composition my performance has a true dramatic concept with an introduction, development and climax. And if I stop earlier, no-one will know what it could end with." Laurent Garnier is fascinated with an idea of live improvisation, that's why he never repeats himself and all his shows are unique and breathtaking. During a 20-year career behind the decks, he has seen his stock rise and fall. He has held residencies in some of the world's most prestigious and talked-about clubs - the Hacienda, Yellow, Robert Johnson, The End, and, of course, the Rex in Paris. He has released a succession of heavyweight dance floor anthems, from the relentless techno pulse of "Crispy Bacon" and moody Detroitisms of "Acid Eiffel" to the end-of-night jazz-house release that is the seminal "Man with the Red Face." |
