19:00 Anna Samuil (Soprano)
Deutsche Staatsoper soloist, Russia-born soprano Anna Samuil performs romances and songs by Rimsky-Korsakov, Strauss, Chopin, arias from the operas by Mozart, Gounod, Puccini, Wagner, Tomasi. Anna started as a violinist graduating from the Moscow Conservatory violin department in 2000, but Irina Arkhipova (outstanding Russian mezzo-soprano, professor) discovered her brilliant soprano and Anna underwent vocal training as well. Anna Samuil is a laureate of several prestigious international competitions, including the famous Tchaikovsky International Competition (2002, third prize). For a few years Anna was a soloist of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko theatre until she was invited by Daniel Barenboim to sing in Deutsche Staatsoper.

19:00 Kristina Aglints
Kristina Aglints (vocal) graduated from Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and had her hour of triumph at the World Championship in Performing Art, in Los Angeles in 1998 where she became an Overall Grand Champion of the World and was awarded Gold Medal as the best jazz vocal.

Symphony Orchestra of Mariinsky theatre performs Rimsky-Korsakov's "Holy Holiday"; Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1; Stravinsky's Capriccio for piano and orchestra; Shchedrin's "Old music of Russian provincial circuses". Valery Georgiev conducts. Soloist – Denis Matsuev (piano).

Chamber orchestra "Moskovia" performs Webern's "Langsamer Satz"; Vivaldi’s Concerts "Winter" and "Spring" from the series "Seasons"; Rossini’s Sonata No. 1 for stringed orchestra; Brahms’ Sextet No. 1. Robert Canetti conducts (Israel). Soloist – Lev Solodovnikov (violin).
