For more than 15 years Germany's distinguished quartet Bohren & der Club of Gore has been playing very gloomy and very beautiful music composed of droning bass notes, rare drum sounds and midnight saxophone. In fact, that is pure absolutized post-metal – delivered long before the official birth of the genre. Their latest album "Dolores" was released in 2008 on the Belgian label Pias (worldwide) and Ipecac (U.S.A. and Canada).
