19:00 Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments
Legendary Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments conducted by Nikolai Nekrasov is more than a big name band with a long brilliant history. This legend orchestra is one of Russia's symbols and its "cultural attache" abroad. The outfit formed 65 years ago still delivers top-class performances and, going with the times, surprises the audience with the original projects. Tonight the orchestra performs Russian and Italian music in a concert "Venetian Carnival".

Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia performs Mozart's Concert No. 25 for piano and orchestra; Mendelssohn’s Concert for violin and orchestra. Alexander Slutsky conducts. Soloist – Mihail Pochekin (violin), Alexey Nabiulin (piano).

Moscow Ensemble "Quattro Mandolino" performs Vivaldi, Boccherini, Villa-Lobos, Bartok, Munier, Desormes, Zaitsev, Theodorakis. Art-director and soloist – Vyacheslav Kruglov (mandolin).
