23:00 | Capital Bass: DJ Hatcha feat. Terror Danjah (UK) |
Hatcha is Croydon's answer to Moodyman and has over 18 years of DJ experience under his belt. Following a job as A&R man and shop hand at the legendary Big Appple Records, Hatcha became the first main DJ behind the now worldwide recognised Dubstep genre. He also mixed the very first " "Dubstep Allstars" compilation, making his name as the Godfather of Dubstep. Terror Danjah isn’t a household name, he’s not as well known as Wiley or Dizzee Rascal, but he’s considered by the grime cognoscenti to be the best grime producer ever. |

22:00 | DJ Black Grass (UK) |
Mex, aka Black Grass, is happy around records. In the mid-nineties he fed his addiction by working in record shops, DJing hip hop and funk breaks at seminal 'Brighton night Knowledge Of Self', warming up for the likes of OC, Jurassic 5 and Big L. After releasing singles on local label Catskills as the Mexican, he took Black Grass from being a shop to being a production outfit, releasing the first album "Black Grass" on Catskills Records. After spending time DJing and touring Australia, Mex recorded the second album “A Hundred Days In One”. Adding even more diversity to the mix than the eponymous album, it delivered enough hooks and beats to light up the dancefloor and get heads nodding in equal amounts. |

Twenty-nine year old Maelstrom first came to prominence late last year with a now infamous reworking of Metro Area’s seminal Miura and quickly gained support from the likes of Todd Terje and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy despite being his debut production. Determined not to be a flash-in-the-pan producer, he was quickly signed up by the revered Belgian imprint Eskimo Recordings where his Balearic-tinged disco house sits perfectly alongside the likes of Aeroplane, Peter Visti and, of course, Lindstrom and Prins Thomas. His knack for cleverly crafting edits has also grown with releases on Mindless Boogie, Beard Science and his own Solardisco label. Denis Simachev Shop & Bar |

23:00 | Numbers Party: Danton Eeprom (UK) |
In February I Love Rein Music launches a monthly party called "Numbers" at Mio DJ-Café. The first "Numbers" party features French London-based producer Danton Eeprom. Danton Eeprom was born in Marseilles. Since his early years Danton listened to all kinds of music and being just a senior student he formed the band Dust Art that existed for eight years with Danton performing as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. In 2005 he visited Popkomm and his life changed radically – his compositions and the way he presented material were highly appreciated in Berlin and very soon Danton became a household name in musical quarters. At that time he experimented with various styles of electronic music. Combining guitar music and vocal in his beats, Danton strove to create crossovers of styles refusing to choose between electronic and life sounds. In 2007 Danton moved to London to gain experience. The same year he founded his own label Fondation Records. Later on he contributed to such much-talked-of releases as "Confessions of an English Opium Eater" (Infine), "All I can Say" (Freak n' Chic) and "One Thing Leads to Another" (Tsuba). Danton collaborated with many labels - Hot Banana, Lektoluv, Contexterrior – and made remixes on Simian Mobile Disco, Little Boots, Lykke Li, Au Revoir Simone, Remote, Royksopp; and joint forces with Radioslave resulted in the famous "Grindhouse". In late 2009 Infine released Danton's new album "Yes is More" in support of which he is coming to Moscow. Mio |

21:00 | Pirate Station Network: Pendulum (UK) |
One of the major drum'n'bass festivals in Russia "Pirate Station Network" headlined by Pendulum. Formed during 2002 by three musicians from Western Australia with similar visions and musical backgrounds, Pendulum’s mission has always been to pull together their production resources, ideas and influences from various styles of music, to create a new sound that they felt was missing from dance music. In 2003, they relocated to the United Kingdom. After a shift in musical style incorporating a rock-oriented sound and more electronic influences, Pendulum are now better known for their energetic live shows, with live band setup and advanced visual displays. Other participants of the festival: Roni Size (UK), Noisia (the Netherlands), Lomax (UK), Commix (UK), Break (UK), MC Jakes, Subwave (Russia), Gvozd (Russia). Crocus Expo |

00:00 | The Crystal Method (USA) |
The Crystal Method are a pair of basement beat scientists rocking out in suburban Los Angeles, techno kings as comfortable on the dance floor as on rock radio, and just as wildly uneven. At their best, partners Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland match power and hooks in dance tracks that throb with raw inspiration and intense sexual energy. Its early reputation built on the strength of furious 12-inch singles ("Now Is the Time"), the Crystal Method finally stepped beyond the rave scene with Vegas; "Busy Child" was a medium hit that momentarily busted open the '90s mainstream in league with Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. Aggressive beats, found voices, and desperate hooks collide and tumble at a brutal pace. Read more |
