22:00 Florian Keller (Germany)
Florian Keller always had his focus on the creative funk period - but never ignored all those influences that matter for quality music. All the roots for all kinds of сlub music doubtlessly generated in the late 60s to the early 80s. The drum patterns, the bassines, the development and growing use of electronic instruments, that is what we still dance to and surely always will. No house (and techno) without the boogie and electro, no hip hop or drum & bass without the funk and the reggae, obviously no 80s electroclash without 80s electro, and no intelligent music at all without the improvisational vein of jazz.
23:00 John Askew (UK)
John Askew is without doubt one of the hottest tech/trance producer/DJs in the world. His record labels Discover and Discover Dark have given birth to some of the most exciting trance and techno records of the last 6 years – including numerous John Askew singles that have been seen ongoing support from the likes of Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Armin van Buuren. The last 18 months has seen John play prime time sets at some of the world's coolest festivals including his banging set on the main stage at Nature One Festival in Germany - which was also broadcast live across the whole country on Sunshine Live Radio. In the past 3 years John has played on all the far corners of the globe including: North America, Canada, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Egypt, Germany, The Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, China, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Greece, Ukraine, Georgia, and of course all over the UK.
23:00 The Unabombers (UK)
The Unabombers and Luke Cowdrey & Justin Crawford. As residents and promoters of the Electric Chair the reputation of the Unabombers has grown hand in hand with the success of the club, which the pair started together in 1995. Now one of the UK’s longest running club nights the Electric Chair & the Unabombers have been accorded cult status for their monthly night of madness and mayhem. Since then the Unabombers have taken their sound around the many of the country and the world’s finest clubs and DJ’d with a "who’s who" of the world’s best DJ’s including, Danny Krivit, FK, DJ Spinna, Joe Claussell, Carl Craig, Gilles Peterson, Derrick May, Theo Parrish, Osunlade, Harvey, Metro Area and the list goes on...
23:00 World Drum and Bass: DJ Hype (UK)
World Drum and Bass party headlined by DJs Hype. Although his Ganja Records label and tracks released under his own name and with the Ganja Kru have helped, it's the 'DJ' at the front of Hype's name that has proved most important in raising his profile to the level of the Grooverider's, Goldie's, and LTJ Bukem's of Drum'n'Bass. A champion of jungle's dancefloor purity, Hype has also rallied consistently against jungle's compartmentalization into artificial "scenes" such as ambient/intelligent and hip-hop/reggae. World Drum and Bass party's full line-up: DJ Hype (UK), DJ Fresh (UK), Teebee (Norway), DJ SS (UK), Audio (UK), Dirtyphonics (France), Netsky (Belgium), Bes & Receptor (Russia), Profit & Eenel (Russia).
