23:00 | Hernan Cattaneo (Argentina) |
Born in Buenos Aires, Hernán grew up listening to bands like Simply Red, Level 42, Depeche Mode and New Order whilst carefully studying Billboard magazine, the only source of information that was readily available at the time. In the mid-90s, Hernán became the cultural force of the dance music movement that was still in its infancy in his country. As a resident in Clubland Buenos Aires, his talent was quickly recognized. Hernán’s career was now accelerating at light speed. In May 2006, Hernán launched his own CD series called 'Sequential' which, so far, has earned him only top rankings in the world’s leading music publications. With an eclectic mix of tracks that includes a whole variety of house rhythms and productions from artists such as Way Out West, Marco Bailey, Paolo Mojo, 16 Bit Lolitas, Dousk, Bushwacka and a remix for Phonique featuring Royksopp’s Erlend Oye, his first installation of Sequential has become essential. |

22:00 | Moritz Von Oswald Trio (Germany) |
Moritz Von Oswald Trio features three multiple talented musicians with each of them being a hot ticket. Max Loderbauer carved out a long and successful career as a member of Sun Electric producing ambient-techno together with Tom Thiel. Their album "30.07.94" recorded live at Love Parade is still believed to be one of the best ambient releases of modern times. Finnish experimenter Vladislav Delay got his start in the late 90s making cold and minimal techno released on Mille Plateaux and Chain Reaction, and later he formed Luomo project where he experimented a lot with vocal balancing between sensual deep house and dance pop music for aesthetes. And finally the leader of the band Moritz Von Oswald is arguably the most influential musician of the modern techno scene. Oswald went down in history as a founder of the legendary Berlin label Basic Channel and as a pioneer of dup step. He has numerous projects to his credit with Maurizio and Rhythm & Sound being the most famous ones. Recently Oswald has been experimenting with classical music as well: two years ago he released the album "ReComposed" featuring his interpretations of the famous compositions by Ravel and Mussorgsky. Moritz Von Oswald Trio sounds really innovative playing the music of future: techno, ambient, dub, electro-acoustic and avant-garde. |

23:00 | Mungolian Jet Set (Norway) |
Emerging from the fallout of Oslo's Grunerlokka club-jazz scene, Mungolian Jet Set have built a new empire from the debris of musical civilizations both recent and long considered lost. Led by Paul "Strangefruit" Nyhus and Knut Saevik with Reidar Skar lurking in the shades, the Jetset have created a Sonic Laboratory at the heart of their growing empire, and it is from there that strangely beautiful and funky audiomutants issue, their numbers growing day by day. The Jetset itself features a variable personnel, but DJ Strangefruit and Knut Saevik reside at the central hub, keeping a firm rein on jazz musicians, over-enthusiastic panhandlers, technocratic beat peddlers, trance-inducing throbmongers, Fallen Space Nuns, Europop charlatans, Hardcore Boppers, Bardic Word-spitters, Disco Dancers and lethargic Goldclad Divas. |
